Small animal effigy water bottle.  This water bottle was entirely hand built from native clay using the coiling method and hand burninshed.  It was then traditionally fired in a wood fire which was smothered creating the lovely black color.  This native clay often results in a very metallic looking finish when fired in reduction, which is quite evident on this pot.  I think this is a very appealing finish.
